• In relation to REACH, much current interest is focused on the management of intermediates, and the significant problems which could be caused for industry by December 2010 guidance from ECHA. As a member of the European Fine Chemicals Group (EFCG), we are in discussions with the objective of reaching agreement on practical, workable guidance for the fine chemicals industry, in relation to the requirement for Strictly Controlled Conditions (SCC) for the manufacture and use of intermediates. We welcome any questions or comments.

• We are currently considering some initiatives under the European Commission's FP7 Program, and would welcome contact, especially from SMEs, with particular interest in process or product design, and working with flow reactors.

• We continue to be active in process development, and to extend our range of process technology, and will expand our Kilolab and Pilot Plant facilities again this year.
